Affiliate marketing means promoting products and services of companies and earning commissions for getting them lead or sale. Cost Per Lead (CPL)

Cost Per Action (CPA)
In CPA method you must make a sale for the company from which you get a percentage of the sale amount as commission. Sometimes you get flat commissions instead of percentage.You make money only if the visitor or customer makes a purchase from your affiliate link.

Once you become a publisher of an affiliate network you can start promoting the products/services listed in their network. You can choose CPL or CPA which is interested for you to promote. Most of them selects the CPL campaigns as it involves no sales and just signup only.
